1 · Dialect & origin-assessment support
Where a client's claimed region or nationality is disputed — common in asylum and Bidoon cases — a written analysis of regional and sub-regional Arabic markers (lexical, phonological, morphological) to support the instructing solicitor's credibility submissions. Provided as informed linguistic input in support of the instructing solicitor, not, of itself, a forensic determination; a formal expert report compliant with CPR Part 35 can be prepared by separate instruction.
2 · Cultural & contextual briefing notes
Concise written notes for legal teams on the cultural, religious and contextual factors that affect how testimony should be read: idiom, naming conventions, kinship terms, customs, and the specific points where a literal rendering can mislead a tribunal.
3 · Terminology & interpreter briefing
Bilingual glossary preparation and pre-hearing terminology briefings for complex matters, drawing on practice-area glossaries built across criminal, immigration, family and mental-health work.
