Remote interpreting, built for legal work
Teams, Zoom, HMCTS CVP, Prison Video Link and telephone — UK-wide, no travel cost charged, no agency margin.
Remote is the preferred mode of this practice. It removes travel cost entirely, enables same-day and out-of-hours cover UK-wide, and means the same named interpreter can follow your matter from first conference to final hearing regardless of venue.
Platforms in daily use
- Microsoft Teams & Zoom — client conferences, witness proofing, counsel conferences
- HMCTS Cloud Video Platform (CVP) — remote and hybrid hearings across criminal, civil, family and tribunal jurisdictions
- Prison Video Link (PVL) — secure HMPPS link conferences without the prison visit
- Telephone — urgent instructions, short attendances, police station advice
What instruction includes
- Bundle read and dialect-specific vocabulary prepared before the link opens
- CRM7 / CRM8 attendance notes as standard for legal aid recovery
- Written confirmation of rate and terms before the assignment
- Same working-day response to booking requests
Free 30-minute pre-instruction consultation
Not sure of your client's dialect, or how the logistics will work? A free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation is available to solicitors, barristers and caseworkers to confirm dialect and plan arrangements before you instruct. Case evidence is not discussed outside a formal instruction. Request it here or email bookings@mustafa-ahmed-interpreter.co.uk.
