Mustafa Ahmed Interpreting Services, a sole trader practice based in Birmingham, is the data controller for information submitted through this website. Contact: bookings@mustafa-ahmed-interpreter.co.uk.
What is collected through this site
The booking form collects the name, firm, email address, telephone number and assignment details you choose to provide. It is delivered by email through Web3Forms and is not stored in a database on this site.
Please do not submit client-identifying case material through the form. Once contact is established I will confirm a secure route for anything sensitive.
Lawful basis and retention
Enquiry data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests — responding to a professional enquiry — or, where an instruction follows, performance of a contract. Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to administer the instruction and to meet professional indemnity and tax record-keeping obligations, and is then deleted.
Confidentiality in assignments
All assignment content is confidential. As an NRPSI-registered interpreter I am bound by the NRPSI Code of Professional Conduct, which imposes confidentiality and impartiality obligations independent of any contract, and I hold Counter Terrorist Check clearance and an Enhanced DBS certificate. Assignment notes and glossaries are kept securely and destroyed once no longer required.
Recordings and transcripts
Recordings and transcripts supplied for review are used only for the instruction, held securely and deleted when no longer required.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses privacy-respecting analytics to count visits. No advertising cookies are set and no visitor profiling is carried out.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data held about you, and may object to its processing. Email bookings@mustafa-ahmed-interpreter.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
