Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
The formal register — right for documents and sight translation, and not a substitute for a client's spoken dialect.
Modern Standard Arabic is the formal written and broadcast register used across the Arab world. It is appropriate for document sight translation and for parties comfortable in the formal register — but it is not a substitute for a client's spoken dialect in interviews or evidence. Part of this practice's role is advising which register your matter actually requires.
Rate: £45/hr (1-hour minimum remote); court work £55/hr (3-hour minimum). See the rate card.
