Schedule 7 and counter-terrorism
Port examinations under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and Section 41 matters, where clearance is a precondition of instruction.
Clearance
Counter Terrorist Check clearance granted 1 October 2025 and valid to 30 September 2030, with no restrictions, issued by the Protective Security Centre. Enhanced DBS held alongside it.
The pool of Arabic interpreters holding current CTC alongside NRPSI Full registration is small, and smaller again for Yemeni and Sudanese varieties.
Working in this setting
Schedule 7 examinations run to a statutory clock and often at unsociable hours. Telephone or WhatsApp will reach me faster than email for urgent instruction.
Confidentiality obligations are absolute and I will not discuss the existence or content of an examination outside the instructing team.
Instructing me for this work
£65 per hour remote, one-hour minimum. £85 per hour in person UK-wide, three-hour minimum. All dialects, all settings. A free 30-minute pre-instruction consultation is available to confirm the client's dialect and plan logistics.
